  1. Dog Yoga with Adoptable Dogs

    Have you been thinking about adding to your family with that special fur baby? Here is the purrrrfect opportunity! The REC of Grapevine and Grapevine Animal Services are partnering to offer some fun filled Yoga classes. These classes will give participants the chance to exercise and give that special member their furever home. The REC will offer separate classes with puppies and kitty cats. All proceeds and donations will benefit the Grapevine Animal Shelter. Adoption fees will be waived the day of the classes. Proper paper work must be filled out. All particpants must register. Classes will be a mixture with adolescents. Dates: Saturday, September 22 (Puppy) Saturday, October 13 (Puppy) Location: The REC Courtyard Times: 10:00 - 10:45 AM Ages: 13 & older $15 12 & under (donation) soft dog or soft cat treats, toys, beds, non-clumping cat litter

  3. Jurassic Gardens

    September 22, 2018 - October 7, 2018

    Travel to the prehistoric Woodbine Formation, found right here in North Texas and come face-to-face with life-size dinos, such as the Utahraptor or Deltadromeus. Visitors of all ages will remain enthralled throughout the interactive walk through exhibit, Jurassic Gardens located inside the Grapevine Botanical Gardens. The exhibit includes museum-quality creatures, educational elements, hands-on activities, genuine fossils and other surprises. These world class creatures are here for a short time – see them before they go extinct! For admission into the exhibit you must buy a ticket PER PERSON. Tickets can be used anytime during the exhibit dates and various hours. This is a one-time use only ticket.

    Give back to your community and volunteer by lending a helping hand in Grapevine’s parks! On the fourth Saturday of each month, through September, volunteers are invited to participate in various volunteer projects that will benefit the environment and improve the appearance of our community. Projects may include painting, planting, removal of invasive plants and litter pickup. You will meet new people that are also happy to help improve their environment and you’ll feel the gratitude of giving back. Specific location and instruction details will be sent out the Monday before each event date.
